Do you dream of being a reporter?
The Kody O’Bear & Company YouTube channel is searching for Junior Reporters throughout Sussex County, Delaware. This is a volunteer position and is open for all school-age and college students. Parents of students under the age of 18 will be required to sign a media consent form (contact our office for the form).
As a Junior Reporter you will write and produce kid-friendly videos of 8-10 minutes in length. The video content can include:
- Showcasing school groups or groups you are involved in
- School events or activities
- Interesting events or activities happening in your community
Skills needed:
Junior Reporters need to have great communication skills and have access to video recording equipment.
You will need to write a short script and record the report either on location or at a school studio. Once edited, the video would be sent to Kody O’Bear & Company for approval.
Submissions will become property of Kody O’Bear & Company.
